William L. Kehler of 1010 12th St. died at 2:05 a.m. Sunday in the Oakland Veterans Hospital Pittsburgh, after an extended illness. He was born Sept. 17, 1911, in Shamokin, a son of Louis and Augusta (Walters) Kehler.
Surviving are two sons, William Jr. of Hollidaysburg and James R. of Altoona; one daughter, Betsy Jane of Altoona; four grandchildren, six sisters, Mrs. Loretta Johnson, Mrs. Olive Knote, Mrs. Audrey Doutrick and Mrs. Mabel O'Donnell, all of Altoona, Mrs. Bernince Williams of New York and Mrs. Evelyn Jamison of Allenwood, and one brother, Leroy of Phoenix.
He was a member of the American Legion having served during World War II in the Army, and was employed as a truck driver with Nelson Produce.
Friends will be recieved at the Scaglione Funeral Home after 7 p.lm. today.
