Sydney HerbertMcNeely 1932 ~ 2004 Sydney Herbert McNeely returned to his Heavenly Father on December 21, 2004 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, the son of Merintha Elizabeth Hansen and Roy H. McNeely. Syd was an avid gardener, fisherman, hunter and antique collector. He was a great husband and father. He retired as an installer/engineer for Western Electric (AT&T) in 1991 after 40 years of service. He was a friend to everyone. He is survived by his eternal sweetheart, E. Larraine Williams McNeely; his children, Lori McNeely Jensen, Sidnee (Scott) Gillespie, Rohn (Huong) McNeely, Linda (Tim) Wangsgaard; his sister, June (LaVoy) Thomas; sister-in-law Betty McNeely; 14 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful 17th Ward Chapel, 2200 South 650 East. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Monday morning from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
