John Warren Duggan, 65, of Kansas City, passed away on December 29, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Independence. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Graceway Church, 5460 Blue Ridge Cutoff, Kansas City, MO 64133, with a luncheon to follow the service. John was born on February 13, 1948, in Kansas City, MO the son of the John and Priscilla (Logston) Duggan. John was a United States Navy veteran serving four years until he was honorably discharged. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, dominoes, and most important spending time with his family. John is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane Duggan; four children, Jeremy Duggan and his wife Tammy; Amy Castillo and her husband Wil; Brad Duggan; and Emily Duggan; six grandchildren, Samantha, Michaela, Ryan, Elisa, Madison and Ruben; nine siblings, Dan and his wife Jan; Stan and his wife Vicki; Joy; Mike and wife Gina; Tom and his wife Sandy; Brian and his partner Chuck; Bill and his wife Linda; Jay D Spears and his wife Jeanie; Betty Jo Henderson. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Duggan.
