Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Gay Worth Muir, age 75, passed away on August 5, 2015 in West Jordan.
Born January 4, 1940 in Soda Springs, Idaho to Clarence and Rhoda Schneider Muir.
Married Marla Cheryl Flynn.
Gay was a local barber in Kearns for over fifty years.
His passion was woodworking. Through his talent for woodworking, he received many awards.
Survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Marla; children, Valene (Mike) Dubbelman, Troy (Gay) Muir, Trent (Jan) Muir, and Bryan (Jodie) Muir; eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville, with a viewing one hour prior to the funeral.
Interment will follow.
