George Lee Johnson, age 68, passed away at his home on May 30, 2016.

Born February 10, 1948 in Cedar City to Glenn H. and Euna L. Johnson.

Married Judy Willesen on October 11, 1968.

George grew up in West Jordan. He graduated Bingham High School in 1966. He lettered in football and wrestling. George went on to attend Snow College.

He drove truck. Hunter education was very important to him. He did gun sight in's at Lee Kay Center. George loved the great outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley. After nineteen years, he finally bagged a beautiful 6x6 bull elk.

Survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Judy; children, Mike, Shelli, Mindie, Jeremy, and Shai; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and brother, Randy. Preceded in death by his son, Jeremy "Bubba" Johnson; brother, David; and parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville. Viewings will be held at the mortuary from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 and one hour prior to the services on Friday.
Interment will follow.
