Born February 18, 1927 in Heber City, Utah to William and Mary Ann Simms. He was next to the youngest of seventeen children.
Ben was raised by his loving parents, John and Helen McDonald. He was a graduate of Wasatch High School. Married the love of his life, Luana Bronson, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 11, 1953.
Ben was a wonderful dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend. He was a World War II veteran and served an LDS mission in Holland. One of Ben's greatest loves was puttering in his shop, building things, his wonderful garden and making people smile with his uplifting personality.
Ben worked all of his life for Western Electric Company and AT&T. While with Western Electric, he worked in the Apollo Space Program. Ben was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding many church positions throughout his lifetime.
Survived by his loving wife, Luana (Bronson) McFee, Ross (Jean) McFee of Shelby, MT; Scott (Carolyn) McFee of Charleston; Paul (Kari) McFee of Heber City, Cindy (Carl) Day, of Heber City, and Karen McFee and fiancé Troy Clyde, also of Heber City. Also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
