Date: July 31, 1878

Died, at his residence, in the upper part of Greenville County, Glassy Mountain Township, near Head of Tyger Baptist Church, on the 21st inst., Mr. W.W. Robertson, in the seventy-third year of his age. The deceased was born, raised, and spent his whole life in Greenville County. He raised a family of three boys and two girls, who are all settled in life. As he was an honest man, he instructed his children to follow in his footsteps. For four years he was treasurer of Greenville County, and he discharged his duties with the office correctly and uprightly, and there were none to impugn his intergrity of character. May he rest in peace.
