Medical Personality. Dr. Drummond-Webb was Chief of Pedriatrics and Congenital Heart Surgery at the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. A medical pioneer, Drummond-Webb had a national reputation for his work with infants and children with heart problems. In 2002 Drummond-Webb became the subject of an ABC television documentary mini-series, and in early 2004 he performed the first successful implant of a heart pump for children. Dr. Drummond-Webb who was suffering from depression took his own life on December 26, 2004, by overdosing on drugs.
