Mr. James Highfield, 75, of Riverside, Alabama, died March 30.
He was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served on the USS Bryant DD665. He was a long time resident of Rome, GA and a business partner in the G & H Cattle Company. He was a great guy

Memorial services will be held April 9 at First Methodist Church, Pell City, AL at 11 AM, with Don Cross, Minister, directing.

Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Highfield; son, Jody Highfield, Riverside, AL; daughters - Mrs. Julie Vazquez, Cape May, N.J., Mrs. Charlotte Lyons, Rome, GA, Mrs. Christina Schert, Freeport, FL: and 7 grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be made to Hospice, Pet City. AL.
