Funeral services for Robert Roland Highfield of Silver Creek Route 1, who died Sunday night were to be conducted at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon in the West Rome Baptist Church by the Rev. M.T. Smith. and the Rev. W.O. Denson. Burial was to be in the Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
A resident of Floyd County for 16 years Mr. Highfield was born in Catersville, son of the Benjamin and Mary Mollie.
Surviving are his wife: Georgia: one son, Harold Highfield of Rome: one sister, Mrs. Emma Willis, of La Grange: one Brother B.F. Highfield of Silver Creek and several nieces and nephews.
