L. S. Huckaby, 83, Dies Suddenly Monday

L. S. Huckaby, a Confederate veteran, who lived with his grandson, J. A. Huckaby, near Six Mile station, died suddenly Monday morning about 3 o'clock.

Mr. Huckaby was 83 years of age and is survived by two sons, J. E. Huckaby, of Vans Valley and P. J. Huckaby, of Livingston, and two daughters, Mrs. J. C. Middleton, of Route 5, Rome, and Mrs. Cohelia, of near Cave Spring.

Six grandsons, G. A., Sam, P. J.,Jr., Robert, and Roy Huckaby and Mell Cohelia, will act as pallbearers.

The funeral and burial will occur Tuesday morning at Cedar Creek church and cemetery. The funeral will be a t 11 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. J. E. Smith of Lindale.

Brittain Bros. Co. funeral department will be in charge.
