Mrs. Coheley was born in Cherokee County, Ala, Sept. 23, 1876, daughter of the late Barn and Marl Shocklet Huckaby. She had been a resident of Floyd County for the last 30 years coming here from Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Coheley in 1929 and was a member of the East 12th St. Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Pollie Howard, Rome, Mrs. Mary Ingram and Mrs. Ollie Hester, both of Cedartown: one son, J. M. Coheley, Rome Route 5: two brothers: John and Jack Huckaby, both of Rome. Thirty grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren also survive
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P. m. Tuesday at Shorter Avenue Methodist Church. The Rev. J. H. Holcomb, pastor, and the Rev. S.A. Kelley will officiate. Interment will be In Oakgrove Cemetery near Cedartown.
The body will lie in state at the residence until time for services. Pallbearers will be W. W. Popham, Van and Marion Boozer, and John Underwood.
