Frank Barnett, Foreman in charge of the out-of-the-city construction work of Archie Allison, who was injured Friday when a steel beam weighing nearly a ton and a half fell on his leg and crushed it, was in extremely critical condition yesterday. The funeral services for Frank E. Barnett, who died of his injuries in a Laramie hospital Thursday night, will be held from the Early-Bricker Brothers' chapel at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The funeral of Frank E. Barnett was held yesterday afternoon from the Early-Bricker Brothers' chapel, the Rev. N.M. Temple officiating. At the grave at Lakeview cemetery the Masonic Blue lodge of which Mr. Barnett was a member conducted burial services.
The funeral was largely attended by both Masons and Elks, as Mr. Barnett was a prominent member of both organizations. He was a member of the Consistory. The carpenter's union members also attended.
The pallbearers were Percy Reynolds, Thomas Cowley, Robert N. LaFontaine, Archie Allison, George Daiber and Andy Simmons.
Mrs. Sam Thompson sang, accompanied by Miss Laura Lee.
Mr. Barnett died in a Laramie hospital following the amputation of his leg. The lower part of his leg was badly crushed by a falling steel beam. At first it was hoped that the leg might be saved, but finally the surgeons informed Barnett that amputation was absolutely necessary, but that it would afford small chance of recovery.
Mr. Barnett for 14 years of his 18 years' residence in Cheyenne has been associated with Archie Allison. He was superintendent of construction work outside of Cheyenne for Mr. Allison and was engaged in the construction of a big garage in Laramie when the accident occurred.
Mr. Barnett is survived by a widow and 5-year-old daughter.

He was employed by Archie Allison on a big contract at Laramie when the accident occurred. Mr. Allison usually detailed Mr. Barnett to handle out of town jobs. He was a general superintendent for Mr. Allison's work in other cities and his employer has only words of praise for the tasks he carried to a successful conclusion, and for his character as a man.
Mr. Barnett is survived by his wife and a 5-year-old daughter, and other relatives living in Ohio. They have been notified. He was a member of the Consistory and of the Elks.
