CONCORD - Helen Odessa Lentz Ridenhour, 74, of 4349 Roberta Road, died Wednesday Jan. 7, 2004.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Roberta United Methodist Church. The Rev. Duvall Mason will officiate. Burial will be at Roberta United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 at Wilkinson Funeral Home and at the home the remaining time.
Born April 14, 1929 in Cabarrus County she was the daughter of the late Arthur James Lentz and Mattie Blackwelder Lentz. She was retired from S. P. Richards Company and was a member of Roberta United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James Lentz.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Everette Ridenhour; a daughter, Vickie R. Nixon and husband Jerry of Denver; a son, Darrell Ridenhour and wife Sue of Concord; four grandchildren, Justin Ridenhour, Wendi Riddle and husband Phil, Jennifer Haynes and husband Jason and Jeremy Nixon; two great-grandchildren, Spencer and Savannah Riddle.
