Mr. Dulin , 84, of Charlotte, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Carolinas Medical Center, Main.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 PM Friday, January 26, at the Wilson Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 5301 Albemarle Road. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM at Sharon Memorial Park with the Rev. Elmer Wilson officiating.

Born April 30, 1922 in Charlotte, Mr. Dulin was a son of the late Robert H. Dulin and Minnie James Dulin. He was a U.S. Navy, World War II veteran. Mr. Dulin retired from the city of Charlotte after 15 years of service. In additional to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters Walter Harrison Dulin, Mary (Teny) Dulin Clary, Julia Dulin Ward, James Robert Dulin, Lee Roy (Snookes) Dulin, and Charles Walker Dulin Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Etta Dulin ; two sisters, Iola Deese and Blanche Whitley, both of Mint Hill; two grandchildren, Kevin Grant of Concord and Stephanie Hunter of Virginia Beach, VA; and two great grandchildren, Brittney and Justin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 4000 North Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte, NC 28205.
