Peter Paul Santire

Peter Paul Santire, age 65, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Meridian. A BOI, Pete Santire was born August 10, 1947, at St Mary's Hospital to Paul and Beulah Santire. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his daughter Christina Santire Gorman, Jamaica, NY, sister, Mary Jo Naschke, brother in law Leroy Naschke, Jr., brother Stanley Santire and sister in law Helen Santire of Houston, nephew Leroy J. Naschke III, wife Kelly Naschke, League City, niece Stacey Naschke Attias, husband Ziggy Attias, Sag Harbor ,New York, and Heather Santire, Houston; great nieces Lyndsey, Kennedy and Karleigh Naschke, Falon, India, and Lily Attias.

He leaves his cousins, Tike and Larry Kriticos, whom he loved as brothers, Callie Kriticos, their children, and many Fress and Gavrel cousins from Houston.

Pallbearers are Leroy Naschke III, Gus Kriticos, George P. Fress, Constantine Kalfas and Johnny Papantonakis. Honorary pallbearers are Leroy Naschke, Jr., Tikie Kriticos, Larry Kriticos, Johnny Garza, Jim Henry and Ivy Partain.

Owner of Reliable AC Sales, Leasing and Repair, he had a reputation for quality repair and had a passion for technology. He attended Galveston public schools, Allen Military Academy and served in the United States Navy.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice Care Team for their caring treatment and support for Pete and the family and to the staff at The Meridian for their professionalism, care and compassion, and neighbors Ivy Partain and Jim Henry for their friendship.

Family visitation will be at J. Levy & Termini, 2128 Broadway, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 5 – 7 pm, Trisaigion service 7 pm. The funeral will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 10 am at Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 1824 Ball. Internment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale, Houston.
