Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother Gladys M. Barnes, a brother Wayne (Alford) Barnes, a sister-in-law, and a brother-in-law. She is survived by her husband, Everett (Bud) Gusler of the home; father, J. B. Barnes of Matthews, NC; mother-in-law, Mary Gusler of Rocky Mount; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Howard Simpson, Sherry Cable, and Debbie and Carl Sluter, all of NC; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Jane Barnes of SC; sisters-in-law, Erma (Pokey) Richards of Rocky Mount, and Connie Goodman and husband Michael of Salem, VA; several nieces, nephews, special friends; and a host of other relatives.
Cynthia was so full of life. Although she faced many struggles resulting from multiple sclerosis and then later from cancer, she never once lost her faith or her love for Jesus Christ. She was a beautiful person, inside and out, and was loved very deeply by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed but NEVER forgotten. "We Love You, Cynthia ."
