She is survived by her husband, Allen Hayes; sons, Billy Hayes and Bradley Hayes, of the home; brothers, Donald R. Butler II, and his companion, Donna Dilling, and David L. Butler , and his companion, Kathy Southern; nephews, Trey Butler and Michael Butler ; nieces, Natalie Butler , Melissa Butler and Taya Butler , all of Charlotte. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was loved and will be missed by all.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Hayes will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2000 from the Charlotte Chapel of McEwen Funeral Service, conducted by the Reverend Robert Boggan and Reverend Ray Moore. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn West.
The family has requested that memorials be sent to Calvary United Methodist Church 512 West Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203 or to the Methodist Children's Home, 1001 Reynolda Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104-3200.
