Alonzo married Mary J. Higbee Feb. 20, 1884. They had 3 children - Obed F.(b. 10-9-1885, Henry H. (b. 7-6-1887), and Harriet E. (b. 3-20-1890) - all born in Kansas. According to "The Genealogy of the Descendants of John Clough of Salisbury, Massachusetts" Alonzo "owned a farm in Smith County, Kansas, Crystal Plains Township...which was willed to his first wife's children, by her uncle. He returned to New York in 1895."
Mary Higbee died in 1896, and Alonzo married Cora E. Dings May 2, 1904.
