Survived by her daughter Susan (Donald) Miklusicak; grandchildren Daniel and Robert (Sheila); great-grandchildren Julia and Morgan. Sister Ann Risko. Nieces and nephews Eugene (Nancy) Gasper, Stephan (Majie) Takas, Marjorie (Richard) Cruise, and Greg (Elizabeth) Risko and several nieces and nephews. She received her degrees from Wayne State University. She devoted many years to politics in Detroit and helped many people come to the country. Involved with DelRay in Detroit and ethnic studies. She received the Distinguished Service Award April 14, 1989, International Heritage Hall of Fame by the International Institute of Detroit. Appointed to the Wayne County Supervisors Board from 1967-1970. Memorial Gathering Saturday April 29, 2006 from 11-1p.m. at Gramer Funeral Home , 705 N. Main St.(Livernois, N of 14) Clawson.
