Mr. Conner was born on September 5, 1933 to Arthur Glee and Ruth Ford Conner in Falkner, Mississippi. He was a retired High School principal in the Memphis School System with 28 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ripley, MS.
His survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sue Killough Conner of Blue Mountain, Mississippi: two sons, Thomas Wayne Conner, Jr. (Mitzi) of Ripley, MS, David K. Conner of Ripley, MS: one daughter, Carolyn Buckley of Cave City, KY: two grandchildren, Maggie Jackson of Ripley, MS, Charles Buckley of Blue Mountain, MS; two great-grandchildren, Robbie and Conner Jackson of Ripley, MS:
