Son of Evan Corkish and Ada Harriet Hinds. His first marriage was to Violet May Pope. Their son Herbert W Corkish died in Novato, California in 1968.

Obituary:
Thomas E. Corkish, 68, Butte native, died Tuesday in his home at 1518 A St. Born Oct. 5, 1902, he was educated in local schools. From 1944 to 1950 he served with the Merchant Marines. He retired from the Anaconda Co. in 1966, after 35 years service. He married Margaret Richter in 1960 here. He was a member of the Miners' Union.

Survivors in addition to his wife include step sons-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schopper and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Arnold of Manhattan, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Michaels of Palm Springs, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. James Parrish of Tacoma, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Sweeney of Gillete, Wyo., and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Rickman of Butte; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wanke and Mr. and Mrs.George Wanke of Gillette, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Wanke of Butte, Rudolph of Shelby, Leonard, Michael and Kenny of Butte,and 22 grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 1:30 in Sayatovic-White's Funeral Home. The Rev. Karl Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
