Peter Zettel, sr., died at the home of his son Peter, jr., during Wednesday night of last week at the age of 88 years and 7 months. Born in Bavaria, Europe, Mr. Zettel came to Door county in 1869, and located on the farm now owned by Joseph in the town of Forestville. In 1874 he opened what is now the Peter Zettel place in this town. He is survived by two sons and three daughters Joseph and Peter and Mesdames John Weber of Forestville, George Feuerstein of Ahnapee, and Frank Hornick of Menominee, all of whome were present at the funeral, which took place from St. Mary's church, Maplewood, Saturday morning, Rev.
