Funeral services for Mrs. Wyatt (Bessie) Beaseley, 83, of Wells, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mt. Hope Tabernacle. Burial followed at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Beasley died at her residence Sunday night after a brief illness. She was born in Smith County January 15, 1883, and had resided at Wells most of her life. She was a member of the Wells First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wyatt Beasley of Wells; four duaghters, Mrs. Ola Goodman of Wells, Mrs. Alice Dullye of San Antonio, Mrs. Velma Tix and Miss Ivey Beasley, both of Houston; a brother, Rube Sessions of Wells; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Wilson of Pollok and Mrs. May Cherry of Alto; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
