M. Grace Fate Buried in Bradford - M. Grace Fate, 84, of 1226 E. Maywood, Peoria, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Augut 11, 1982 at her home. Born August 18, 1897, in rural Bradford, she was the daughter of Wilber H. and Ann Foster Fate. She was graduated from Proctor Hospital School of Nursing in 1921, and had been both the Public Nurse and Peoria County Health Nurse. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Peoria and the Priscilla Fellowship of United Methodist Women. Surviving is one niece, Marian Fate of Bradford and three great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Services were at 2 p.m. Friday at the Dunlap-McCann Funeral Home, Bradford, the Rev. Walter Teesdale officiating. Burial was in Mound Cemetery, Bradford. Visitation was one hour before services. Organist was Gary black. Casketbearers were Bob Scott, Ernest Linden, Orval Crooks, Jim Robison, Tom Robison and Lewis Surslier. Honorary bearers were Harold Hollar and Harold Scott.
