Darnell Burbank Allison, 81 of Florence died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at ECM Hospital. Born on February 14, 1932, she was the daughter of J.E. and Erma Burbank. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Pine Hill Church of Christ with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Officiating will be Wayne Geans and John Richardson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be nephews, Roger Burbank, Chris Burbank, Mike Burbank, David Angel, Tracy Parr, and Freddy Fell.
Honorary pallbearers will grandsons and great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ricky and Jerry Allison; brothers, Billy and Allen Burbank.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Earl Allison; son, Steve Allison (Juanita); daughter, Rose White (Jimmy); grandchildren, Alison Cook (George), Adam Allison, Preston Allison (Heather); great grandchildren, Georgia Cook, Cole, Bryant, Katie, and Lucas Allison; brothers, Ronnie (Louise), Berl, Jackie, and Larry Burbank (Mavis); sisters, Ethel Parr, Martha Pigg (Jessie), Patricia Thompson (Jackie), Tonda Tyon (Greg).
