Leonard was the son of Brownlow & Annie Wilson (Tolle) Brewer. He was born 11th of November, on his grandfather James Anderson Tolle's birthday.
Leonard married Ora Mae Moore, daughter of Sam Moore and they had 4 children.
Harlan, Imogean, Samuel and Billy Dan.
Leonard worked at the factory in Waynesboro.He was getting ready to leave for lunch and was turning off his machine, his glove got caught and the belt slung him into the air and beat him to and fro. He died before they could get the machine turned off.. his daughter recalls hearing the whistles blowing and thought it was the lunch signal but it was actually the alert of the danger that was happening to her dad.
