HARRY T. SHONK
Harry Thomas Shonk, 55 of Caledonia died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at home. He had been in ill health six years. Formerly a furnace man employed by the Crawford Steel Co. at Bucyrus, he retired in 1955 because of illness.
Born Sept, 28, 1906 in Marshall, IL, he was a son of Orville and Anna Murphy Shonk.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Evelyn Rinbolt Shonk: his mother, who resides on Dix Ave. in Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Della Northrup and Miss Patricia Shonk of Caledonia; a son, David Shonk of Caledonia: four grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Dorothy Hamm of 687 Hermann St. in Marion, and four brothers, Clay Shonk of Schenectady, N.Y., Lewis Shonk of 767 W. Center St. in Marion, Everett Shonk of Cardington and Roy Shonk of Granite City, IL. A brother preceded him in death.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Timson Allen Funeral Home in Caledonia. Rev Dean Sauerwine will officiate. Burial will be in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 tonight.
