Lorene Frances Brittle died at 11:30 a.m. June 16, 1985 at St. Johns Medical Center in Joplin, MO after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at the First Christian Church of Grove Wednesday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ken Siemens officiating. Burial will be in the Zena Cemetery under the direction of the Lawson Memorial Chapel of Grove.
Mrs. Brittle was born in Branson, MO, October 9, 1914. She had lived in this area for 29 years and was a member of the First Christian Church of Grove. She retired in 1973 after working at the Betty Ann Nursing Home.
She is survived by her husband Jack M. Brittle, 140 Mill St., Grove; two daughters: Mrs. Opal Tracy, Quapaw, and Mrs. Pat Blevins, Grove; three sons: Jack Brittle, Hood River, Oregon; Jerry Brittle, Oregon City, Oregon and Rex Brittle, Sandy, Oregon; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; one brother, John Hensley, Joplin, MO.; three sisters: Maye Baldridge, Miami, Ok., Faye Harkins, Springfield, MO, and Velma Gilmore, Odell, Oregon.
Family will receive friends at 140 North Mill Street, Grove.
