Ed Parrish,79, of Graham, was pronounced dead on arrival at a Starke hospital Monday afternoon following a sudden illness.
Mr. Parrish was born in Bradford County on May 1,1887, and had resided in this area all his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Hampton Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Daisy Slade Parrish, of Graham; four daughters, Pearl Parrish Griffin, Mrs. Verdi Simpson and Mrs. Allie Evatt, all of Miami and Mrs. Verna Cantner of Vienna, W.Va.,; a son, Lem Parrish of Miami; two stepsons , Earl Slade of Pawtuckett, RI., and Barney Slade of Avon Park.
Funeral service were held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Jones Memorial Chapel with Rev. Merle Packham, pastor of Hope Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Miami,Fla.
