Leta was a quiet, pleasant patient with a sweet smile for everyone. She was born October 25, 1905, to Nathaniel Guinn Fix and Mary Ellen Serwise Fix, at their home in Anderson Township southeast of Martinsville, IL.
Survivors are her sister, Edith Fix Davis, and several cousins.
She gave her heart to the Lord at an early age and joined the St. Paul Church in 1918 where she served as organist for several years. Leta was an active member as long as her health permitted. She lived with her parents until their death in 1936 after which she made her home with her sister, Edith Fix Davis and husband Jesse M. Davis.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 6th at the Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville at 1 p.m. with Rev. Don Graham officiating. Burial was in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery beside her parents and near many others of the Fix family.
