Robert Fleming Chase. Son of John Douglas and Georgie May Chase of Fredericton, York, New Brunswick, Canada. Husband of Louise Gertrude Sisson. Robert was seerved with the RCAF in WWII and lost his life when his plane, Lancaster W4178 "ZN-P" of 106 Sqn, RAF. Airborne 20:20 on 16 Sep 1942 from Coningsby. Target: Essen. Crashed in the North Sea sea off the coast of the Netherlands, west of Zandvoort.
