Birmingham News (AL) August 3, 2005 > Frances Elizabeth (Summers)Alsup, age 91, of Birmingham, AL died July 31, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Alsup, Sr. Survivors include sons, Albert E. Alsup, Jr. of Cropwell, AL and Donald Wesley Alsup of Ft. Smith, AR; daughter, Frances Kay Wensloff of Tampa, FL; sister, Peggy Conger of Cumberland City, TN; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Johns-Ridout's Elmwood Chapel. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 4, at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Ridout's Elmwood Chapel directing.
