Mrs. Harry James Crumpacker died of a complication of diseases at 2:20 o'clock this morning, at the Crumpacker home near the Rinker schoolhouse. The funeral arrangement have not been made.

Funeral of Mrs. Crumpacker

The funeral of Mrs. L. T. Crumpacker, who died Monday morning, was held this morning at 10 o'clock at the home in the Rinker neighborhood. The services were conducted by Herbert Strickler, pastor of the Methodist Protestant Church of Neosho Rapids. The pall-bearers were S.W. Kehler, Marion Bishop, William Hammond, S.F. Shelton, John A. Scheel and J.C. Hoch. Interment was in Maplewood.

Carrie June Barnes was born in Porter County, Indiana, April 16, 1860. She married Lucian T. Crumpacker, December 26, 1878. Five children were born to this union: Elizabeth Jane Tallon, of Ulysses, Nebr.; John Clarence Crumpacker, of Emporia; Margaret May Crumpacker, who died in infancy; William Dale Crumpacker and Thomas Floyd Crumpacker, both of Allen. Mrs. Crumpacker is survived also by two brothers and two sisters. She joined the United Brethren Church in 1903, and was a faithful member until her death. She was a good wife and loving mother, and her greatest pleasure was in doing for others. Many sincere friends mourn her loss.
