Arthur Frank Nixon was born a twin to Esie Lydia (Dixson) Nixon of Nebraska & Frederick B Nixon of Ohio on Jan 5 1913, in Boise, Ada, Idaho. The twins were their parents fifth birth. Shortly after his birth, twin brother Arnold Edward Nixon died at 9 months of age. Soon Arthur followed him in death at the age of one year old. The following year the twins oldest sister, Vera Fern(born Jan 5 1903) died at the age of 12. Arthur had three older siblings that lived, Velda A, Donald Neal, and Carol Brown Nixon. After Vera Fern's death his parents had two more children, Harry Frederick, and Glen Richard. The tragic death of the twins and Vera Fern must have been devastating for the family.
