"The burial date should be deleted from this record. Her body was donated to the I.U. Anatomical Board and was picked up on October 31, 1974. She actually died on the 29th at 11:20 pm. I doubt that Crown Hill has the burial date as she was buried in a mass grave in section 41A with others who had also donated their bodies. It could have been days, months or years before her body was released.
There is a monument there that says it is dedicated to all who donated their bodies but having a plaque, brick or paver is fairly expensive and her name is not on the monument.
I was able to find this out by talking to others visiting the monument and looing up her death certificate.
Most records show her name as Katharine and that is how she signed it on her passport."
