John Davis Clark, 70, of 217 Academy St., died Aug. 24, 1995, at his home. He was self-employed in cotton ginning and the fertilizer business.
He served in the 8th Air Force Division during World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 154.
He was a member of Johnston First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Anne Clark Dover of Moore, and Susan Clark Hawkins of Johnston; two sons, John Davis Clark Jr. of Johnston, and William H. "Bill" Clark of Edgefield; two brothers, William Mahlon Clark of Columbia, and Walter Hugh Clark Jr. of Johnston; and eight grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Hospice, 681 Silver Bluff Road, Aiken, S.C. 29803.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Bland Funeral Home Chapel, Johnston, with burial in Mount of Olives Cemetery.
