James Cabell Hood, 82, of Krum passed away Friday, September 14, 2007 in Denton.

He was born July 15, 1925 in Arlington, Texas, to John Cabell B. and Fannie Ethel Florence (McFadden) Hood. James was a Sanger High School graduate. He married Linda E. Frazier on September 6, 1953 at the Plainview Baptist Church in Krum, where he was also a member.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Hood of Krum; sons, James Leonard Hood and wife, Brenda of Sanger; Paul Hood of Krum; and Timothy Robert Hood and wife, Margie of Krum; his sisters, Betty Jane Cole of Bryan and Sally Ann Robinson of Grand Prairie; brothers, Pat Hood of Austin and Jack Hood of Bogata; and granddaughter, Tiffany of Arlington. His brothers, Paul, Bob, Bill, Tom and Joe; and sisters, Dorothy, Myrtle, Mary and Nancy, precede him in death.
