Andrew S. Funk passed from this life on February 6, 2010, with his loved one at his side, due to complications of bone cancer.

Andy was born April 27, 1970 in Granger, UT. We are grateful for the time we had together, for Andy's sweet spirit and tender heart, for his example of kindness and love - for his zest of life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. We know he is at peace and released from all his earthly cares.

His life partner, David Wood, survives Andy, also parents, Bill and Judy Funk, sisters and brothers: Karen (Blaine) Hawker, Marilee Mitchell, Mark (Leah) Funk, Jan (Adam) Johnson. Many loved uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Preceded in death by both sets of grandparents.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. in the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West). Friends and family may call at the church at 3665 South 6000 West from 10:00-11:00 a.m. before the services.
