Wm. C Hyatt died Friday and was buried Saturday. He was a noted character in his time, and in his earlier days was quite wealthy, being a successful miner. He wrote poetry quite often, and was the originator of "Hyatt's Compound Bitters: which had a large sale here. Of late years he has been unwell and has been failing fast for the last year. He leaves a widow and four children.
