Myron was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Newberg to Harold and Delma (Kiser) Moore, and died April 6, 2006, in the home he built in Tillamook. He was 82.
Myron married Ila Pesterfield June 30, 1949, in Vancouver, Wash. They made Tillamook their home and Myron worked first in logging and later at the lumber mill. He was the manager of Louisiana Pacific Lumber Mill for 28 years. He enjoyed family activities, music, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Tillamook Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge.
Myron is survived by his wife, Ila Moore of Tillamook; one son, Richard Allen Moore of Newport; three grandchildren, Dennis Moore and his fiance Sherri Hulet, Angel Hage and Raymond Hage; three sisters; seven great-grandchildren; Nick Moore, Myron Moore, Brittney Hulet, Chris Moore, Annalee Johns, Grace Hage, Michelle Ray Cottone; three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Alyssa and Tony Cottone Jr. Myron was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Hage.
