Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of Elaine (Lefkowitz) Bernfeld and the late Sol Bernfeld. Pamela worked in the music and software industry for 30 years. She enjoyed the beach and heavy metal music. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Redondo Beach and was involved in volunteer activities. A strong willed woman, she lived her life her way. Family and friends meant everything to her, with loyalty her strong suit. Pamela will be deeply missed. She leaves her life companion, Barry Hodges of Redondo Beach, CA, her mother, Elaine Bernfeld of The Villages, FL, her brother, Harvey Bernfeld of Sorrento, FL, dear friend, Susan Barry, nieces, Samantha and Gracie Bernfeld and nephew, Alex Bernfeld. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2013 at 9:00am in the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL.
