Ocala - Warren Ernest McGahagin, 84 died June 22, 2009 at Palm Garden Nursing Home in Ocala, FL. Warren was an Army veteran serving in WWII. Mr. McGahagin was graduate of the University of Florida in the Class of 1951 and later was an aerospace engineer for Martin-Marietta. Warren relocated to The Villages area in 1998 and was a life member of VFW Post 8083, Belleview, FL, avid fisherman, and a big Gator fan. He is survived by; nephews, David and Tommy LaRocco; niece, Angela Jenkins; cousins Linda Smith and Loree Music; and brother-in-law Joe LaRocco. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 26, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Ocklawaha Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Hiers Funeral Home, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 34470.
