He was born January 23, 1917 to Elmer and Sarah (Palmer) Waggoner.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Peggy Waggoner, second wife Joann (Parker) Waggoner, one brother, and three sisters.
He is survived by six children; Pat (Cecil) McNew, Chuck (Linda) Waggoner, Francis Ann (Herb) McGlothen, Larry Waggoner, Jerry (Dianna) Waggoner, and Scott Waggoner. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Military Honors were performed by Promberger Traw Post #4556.
Funeral Service were held in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Keith M. Waggoner, Ph.D. & William T. Fortson II, M.Ed. Officiating. Burial was in the Dalton Cemetery located on Old Burr Rd.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-7.
