Gertrude married Johann Cordie, born Lorch Germany, on 15 Jan 1867 in Maryborough, QLD, Australia. They lived on "Lorch Farm" the Pocket, Albert St, Maryboough. She died in Maryborough in 1913 and is buried in Maryborough Cemetery with her husband Johan (John) Cordie. Her mother Elizabeth Wex and father Jacob Wex are also buried in Maryborough cemetery.
