Otto Blaine Annis, aged 64, of Twin Lakes, Dowagiac, Mich., died at 3:30 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph hospital after an illness of 13 weeks. Born in Bremen, Ind., Aug. 25, 1884, he had lived all his life in South Bend with the exception of the last two years spent at Twin Lakes. On June 4, 1904, he was married in Bremen to Goldie L. Hardy. He was employed before his illness as a cabinet maker by the South Bend Lumber company.
Surviving besides the widow at home are his mother, Mrs. Amanda Annis, of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Reichandter, of Bertrand, Mich., and two brothers, Lester, of Mishawaka, and Clarence, of South Bend, and three grandchildren. Friends may call in the Forest G. Hay funeral home Sunday morning until the funeral to be conducted there at 2 p.m. by Rev. D. T. Dale, assistant pastor of Highland Park Evangelical Brethern church.
Burial will be in Highland cemetery. Mr. Annis was a member of South Bend aerie No. 435, of the Eagles.

Pallbearers for Otto Blaine Annis, of Twin Lakes, Dowagiac, Mich., for whom funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Hay funeral home, will be Scott, Theodore and Cecil Hardy, all of Bremen, Ind., Claude Hardy, of Goshen, Ind.; Charles Hardy, of Dowagiac, Mich., and Franklin Finkenbinder, of Granger, this county, all relatives of Mr. Annis. The name of a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Finkenbinder, of Granger, Ind., was omitted from the list of survivors previously listed.
