Funeral services for Elsie May Field, 86 year old Beaver County Home resident, were held Saturday, June 27, 1981, in the Chapel of Memories in Woodward. The Rev. John Robinson of Wichita, Ks., and the Rev. Wendell Pitts of Booker, Tx, officiated. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hazelton, Ks.

Elsie May Field was born February 15, 1895, in Lebo, Ks., to Gilmore Alton and Liza (Shoaf) Arb. She grew up in Kansas, and on September 12, 1917, she was married to Harry E. Field in Anthony, Ks. They lived in Oklahoma and Texas during their marriage. For the last eleven years, she has resided in the Beaver County Nursing Home due to ill health.

She was a member of the Christian Church. Mrs Field passed away June 25, 1981, in Beaver.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

She is survived by two sons: Delmar Field of Claremore, OK.; Dale Field of Haviland, KS.; two daughters Vinetta Howard of Booker, TX. and Viletta Adams of Borger, TX.; one brother Clarence Arb of Beaver, OK.; three sisters: Pearl Sherman and Zelma Arndt, both of Alva, OK.; Leona Huffman of Harper, KS.; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and other relatives. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Hazelton, KS in lot #389, next to her brother, who died at birth.
