Survivors: wife, LaVon; sons, Garrell of Andover, Johnie of Elbert, Colo.; daughter, Charlotte Page of Springfield, Mo.; brothers, Vivian of Anthony, Charles, Cecil, both of Wichita; sisters, Irene Reed of Arkansas, Minnie Patterson of Wichita; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
