She was united in marriage to L.T. French, March 26, 1873. To this union were born five children, Ellis, John and Mrs. Maggie Bowman of King City, Mrs. John Marsh of Union Star, and Mrs. Ben Newman of Albany, MO. She leaves to mourn her going her husband, five children, 26 grandchildren and 11 grgrandchildren.
She was the daughter of Rev. Hugh Barnes Teel. There were 10 children of that union, six boys and four girls. Her father, mother and four children have proceded her in death. Those living at the time of her death are Jim Teel of Gallatin, Mrs. Otha Mason of Pattonsburg, Mrs. Tom Kerr of Stanberry, Jake Teel of Albany and Enoch Teel of Elnora Kansas. She was a dovoted christian mother, always trusting her maker.
The funeral was held at the Fairview church, conducted by Rev A.L. Christian of Darlington, assisted by Rev. Ross Wood of Berlin. Interment in the Fairview Cemetery.
