Obituary
ELLIS COWART TO BURIED TUESDAY
Ellis E. Cowart, technician fifth grade, of Vancleave, whose body will arrive in Pascagoula today, will be buried Tuesday from the home at 2 pm. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Vancleave.
A delegation from the VFW, Pascagoula, will meet the train, accompanied by VFW Auxiliary, headed by Mrs. Hurley Guillotte.
A full military funeral will be held, Rev. R.L. Vaughan will also officiate.
He attended school at Daisy-Vestry and was employed at Ingalls for three years prior to entering the service. He entered the service in 1942 and was in the engineering corps. He was killed in action in France.
Tech. Cowart is survived by his mother, Mrs. L.J. White, Vancleave; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Byrd, Vancleave; four brothers, Ray Cowart, Frank Maples, Eustis and Ted White;
Vancleave, grandmother, Mrs. M.E. Firth, Biloxi.
